Stewart-Haas Racing is completely ready to Shake and Bake. The NASCAR Cup Collection workforce will enter two “Talladega Evenings” tribute vehicles in this weekend’s YellaWood 500 race at, where by else, Talladega Superspeedway.
Two of Stewart-Haas’ 4 Ford Mustangs will get the specific liveries, the two pulled straight from the 2006 comedy which starred Will Ferrell as clueless-but-proficient NASCAR driver Ricky Bobby. John C. Reilly performed Bobby’s ideal good friend and fellow driver Cal Naughton Jr.
Ryan Preece will push the amount 41 Speculate Bread motor vehicle in a trustworthy recreation of Ricky Bobby’s journey (minus the Fig Newtons sticker on the windshield, that is). Chase Briscoe’s amount 14 Mustang will cosplay as Cal Naughton Jr.’s motor vehicle with an Aged Spice livery. The other two Stewart-Haas vehicles—the amount four of Kevin Harvick and the amount 10 of Aric Almirola—will operate with their regular liveries.
Speculate Bread and Aged Spice have signed on as real sponsors for the weekend. They will have shows at the keep track of and Speculate Bread will also have a screen showcasing Preece’s amount 41 Mustang at two,000 retailers in the course of Alabama, Ga, and Florida.
As is compulsory for any NASCAR marketing, Stewart-Haas will also have Speculate Bread and Aged Spice-branded goods for sale.
This is not going to be the initially time a serious-everyday living NASCAR workforce has paid out homage to “Talladega Evenings.” In 2012, Kurt Busch ran a Ricky-Bobby motivated livery, also at Talladega.
Preece and Briscoe have still to go to the podium, permit on your own victory lane, this period, so a race gain for both motor vehicle is not likely. But the vehicles need to appear great on keep track of, primarily if Preece and Briscoe have a likelihood to operate shut collectively and use their film counterparts’ slingshot shift.
